General What are these?

It's not unusual for wires to be missing from the fuse box,

It's normally easier just to install a separate fused spur for power

Plenty of info on here if you search for cigarette lighter as most of the active range stops short at the a pillar, there's a couple of spare grommets in the fire wall with nothing in them

Yep the fuse to the side of the obd connector

And fuses in the body computer itself

So it looks like the wire goes from F85 to BCM and then BCM to Pin2 on the subwoofer connector.

And as the car didn't come from the factory. With the so called Rip off Woofer pack! The BCM dosent allow the power output. Now if that's not a Monopoly control. I duno what is.

Yes i could run a wire from another point. But now im going to get the laptop talking to the BCM.

What a complete FAFF! No wonder fitters scratch there head's these days!?

No

Goes from the fuse box to a coupling to the sub

Body computer not involved in the sub

Always double check

Fiat don't use unique colours

And changes from model, year, engine euro version, lots changed around 2008 and so on

I really appricieate your help so i tried to find the info you posted i got this.

F54 next to ODBII plug.png
Which says fuse 54 is Subwoofer next to ODBII sensor?

LOL so i traced it physically. Goes to a black connector in passenger foot well!? That's your dash coupling i take it.

Ive proved this with a continuity tester as well!

There is no wire on the otherside of the plug so it seems F85 dosent have a wire to this connector? Jee's what a pullaver.

or i could pinch it from cigar lighter.

Normal

Excellent

Cigarette lighter is good for 20A I believe, might double check if you decide to go this route, fiat wires normally have plenty of headroom, but their connector suffer with oxidation

The original sub had a separate fuse of 10A on the side,

Guess it all depends what you are going to install and if it's separately fused 100W with a 10A fuse sounds (joke intended) about right, but I.C.E isn't my sort of thing, there is a separate section on here

Yeah there's a seperate 10 Amp on the side. I suggested the cigar or cigarette lighter depending wether your POSH or not!? :censored: As an easy way out. Running a cable through the bulkhead and then trying to put some sorta spade connector behind the engine Fuse box might be more hassle then it's worth!

12v 100w is 8.3 amps. Thats probably why the sub has a 10 built in for Discrimo!

Get yourself a secondary fuse box and connect the live side to battery via heavy cable and relay. Trigger the relay from an ignition live. That way you'll never be short of easy access power.
This is overkill but you get 4 relay circuits and 12 permanent on circuits. Something cheaper with relay on the common battery supply would be less money. Probably.

Id never thought of this but it makes sense on several levels

I have this on order its going to give me Subwoofer feed 4 electric window motor feeds and my Windows one touch ecu interface Switches control circuit. Coming to Fifi the Panda soon. Waiting for stuff to come from China. :censored:

Theres space for retro fit winter bum warmers as well!

The biggest challenge i have is grafting four switches mirror controller in the drivers door loooking OEM but with carbon fiber look pod!

Oh and i want folding mirrors as well!
