Just had a run this lunchtime, its 33-35degC outside, got to the pub and opened the bonnet, my intake tube is actually cold to the touch.

Make sure the front of the ducting points to somewhere that will allow air to be forced down it and sucking is not going to happen!

De-cat pipes...............

Does fitting a de-cat pipe really work, if so what sort of BHP gains are made. Who makes the best de-cats and where can I get one?

Is it a simple bolt on bolt off fitment?

A de-cat is a de-cat is a de-cat, they are just a length of pipe, nothing in them but air.

Just remember its an MOT failure

Check Ragazzon decat pipe...
they have all sort of exhaust for the Bravo/a/Marea
Except the manifold i think only available from Supersprint and another company I cant remember the name now...

Looks like its going to have to be NOS for a serious power gain!!!!

I imagine that NOS kits are pretty expensive to buy and fit, who makes the best kits in the UK?
