General What about this???????

As I said before, I recently changed My 1.6 5dr Dynamic for a 3dr 1.6 dynamic.
WRONG, I got the car the other day and just got round to going through the old paper work.
Imagine my suprise when I noticed from old service historys etc that it is infact a 1.8:yum: I phoned the garage and it seems they were looking at the 16v on the back and assumned it was 1.6. now my insurance will go up, will I have a redress to claim some of that back?
I am happy with the car and maybe had a better bargain than I thought.
(I thought it had a bit more grunt )

A redress of grievance i.e mis sold so a bit of compensation may be due for added expense of extra insurance

When ever I do online quotes, I pump in my registration and usually it brings up the car details - I am surprised the insurance didn't already know :s

If they quoted on the reg no then you will find they have quoted on the 1.8 anyway. Should be no change.
