Saw this Fiat Panda 4x4 on ebay about 2 weeks ago, the guy started the bidding with no reserve at something like £100 and it ended at something around £800.

Now the guy has relisted it for £900, and according the the guy who writefully won the auction, on the feedback he wrote that the seller refused to sell it to him for under £1000!!

Hi

Legally he must sell. He made the offer which was accepted. Case for a letter followed by a small claim through the county court.

I think the difference between the final price and what he now needs to buy would be the starting figure.

He was probably too stingy to pay the fee for a reserve price. It's £7.99 for a car. With £10 to list it and £20 plus final value fee, it's a pricey way to sell a cheap car, although I've done it myself to get rid!

Small world...

...I do wish people would learn how to use the "reserve" feature. I've had several "no reserve" auctions canceled with seconds to go because the seller wasn't happy with the price this guy has taken it a step further. As I said in the other thread it's a £500 car he should have snapped the winners hand off for £840.
