I have a Bravo 1.8 hlx it looks really nice even the alloys are nice (but they are the standard ones)

Dont know whether to buy a body kit and a nice set of 16"'s (bit weary of 17"'s). or just some 16"'s and no body kit

I have been given a price for a kit rear and front bumper spoiler + side skirts for a total of £515, this sounds quite expensive anyone else no other and cheaper suppliers. What about the replica abarth kits where the heck do they come from?

Oh i dont know what to do, please can i have your opinions

Thanks

16s not a huge difference

why are you wary of 17s? maintenance or fit?
anyway, i reckon a bodykit with 16s is worth going for, just changing your 16s from 15s will not make a big difference to the car (with no bodykit). I think if you didn't want to put a kit on, you should go for 17"s to make it look distinctive. ....
.....well that's what i think anyway, and what do i know!.....

btw - have you got details of the kit? any websites?

17's the way to go

17's are cool James.

I'm running Evo's with 205/40/17, really need to drop 30mm to get the real effect.

I'm thinking of even going to phat 18's but first got to raise the cash and also see if they will fit.

According to people here they will with the new 18's tyres out ( can't remember what size ) as long as you don't go to 8" wide.

What bodykit you after ?

Yep wary???

yes im wary, i mean i would prefer 17"s but does that mean i cant have anyone in the back, and i can put full lock on without scuffing the arches?

Not sure can u help?

What body kit - im not sure? how many different types are there and do you know the best place with the best prices to get them? any pics?

Also just saw a bravo with chorome 17"s and chrome like tape around the whole bottom of the car it looked great - and the car didnt have a kit. (not sure what the tape was if it was tape?)

Thanks

what website ?

there are a few diffent ones about, the Abarth, the Indy kit from www.auto-sport.co.uk

I'm after the one from www.itcb.com it's well cool trouble is you can only get from Switzerland as far as I know.

Where did you spot this car ?

Here!

The www.itcb.com address doesnt work - it say the domain is for sale?

Anyway look here:

http://www.simoniracing.it/Car&Girls.html

And click on the bravo link, i really like it, is it just chrome tape? if i wanted to do it how can i? Its an italian site??? who can i ask they say they have uk resellers?

body kit and origonality

Instaed of a bodykit how about modifying what you have. Go for the 17's and how does this sound.

Take the slats out of the front grill and add mesh it doesn't have to be silver but dark coloured mesh if you don't want it to stand out.

Some HGT side skirts i think look much better than the abarh ones try and get hold of some, they'll probably be expensive.
Or put slots in your skirts now. There is a red HGT on 'other peoples cars' from Italy i think and it has Z3 air vents pressed in the side of the car (vergilli-is the name of something like that)

You dont have to spend loads on a kit but add to what you've got. Originality is the game. Now these ideas may not be to your taste thats okay but if they are i hope i've given you something to think about.

Good luck

Were and what?

Steve

Yeah ive seen those vents before i think they look great, any idea how much and where to get them from?

Also not to sure what you mean about the slats? Where abouts?

There is already some mesh as standard either side or just below the fiat badge?

Can i have your email address as well please.

Thanks

kits

The address was wrong, it should be www.itcdb.com

About the Bravo on the simoniracing site the Bravo DOES have a bodykit, it's just a very thin one that's been painted silver. FIAT never made a Bravo with bumpers that were that shape at the bottom so it has to be a kit. While I don't know where you can get the bodykits, all the other stuff they make is available on nearly every uk tuning site, most of it looks cheap and nasty like the aero-look fuel caps and pvc gear lever gaiters.

slats

the slats are in the front bumper in between the fog lights going from left to right, i though the HGT bumper was similar if not the same as the HGT

Front Grille

Were you at Blackpool 28.04.01? Did you see a green Bravo with the slats removed on the front bumper and mesh inserted? If so, I thought of that idea two months ago!
