As some who know may know, I love Jaffa cakes!

Well recently I have been going for the proper ones and not the cheapo asda ones, why? THey are cheaper! Not only are they cheaper however, this is the current asda pricing for Jaffa cakes:

12 = 69p
24 = 107p
36 = 98p

Figure that out if you can?!

I think 45 asda ones are 154p or so.

it will most probably be a promotion by asda or a price set by the makers of jaffa cakes, just to shift excess stock, what are the sell by dates on them, if u have a pack handy

I have two :p I know they brought down the price of 36's recently but it doesn't show it to be a promo price and it has been like that for a good month now.

Date is 18th Dec, anybody got another pack to compare against?!

It's in longsight, Manchester, the sort of area where even drug dealers lock their doors! lol. I'm scared to do anything but my shopping! lol

i bought a packet of baps from asda on thursday reduced to 29p, when i got home there was loads of black flies in the pack alive, the pack was all sealed up so i took them back rembering what helz said about money back and more stuff, all i got back was my 29p cost more than that in petrol i said that all i get no petrol money? they said no thats it, if that happens again i will send them to environmental health :(

That's horrible!!! COmplain to asda head office Dave! - You will get something back then I am sure.

I bought 12 rolls for 7p today and 6 larger ones for 5p, bargains! But my freezer tray is full :( Oh well, 12p down the drain! lol.

Cheers Charlotte, I await the reply!

Re: Don't waste 12p...

I'm not wasting any sandwich filling on them lot! On the other hand....that out of date cheese could do the job nicely!

Re: Yes...

Hopefully the rolls don't have flies in them. Dave that's really awful! You should write to head office and complain! You'd get more money from that going to The Sun!!

No mate...

I found being the mad geordie everyone was a bit scared of worked better (y)

No, seriously, I'd say fair do's early on, but when the work starts getting a little more intense, they should, and probably will, settle down. If not I'm sure you halls will have some anonymous system to grass them up :D

Re: No mate...

Hey James, don't get me wrong, I have no problem with it right now, i mean it has been 3 weeks but it could be a lot worse. It's just I was woken last night at 3am by this loud mouthed girl telling me to socialise, I was asleep and it obviously pissed me off, that hasn't been the first time either. I just wish they would be as considerate as I am, I mean our kitchen was getting a health risk last week, why can't people wash up at least every other day?!

I wonder who that anonymous person could be?! LOL in all honesty I probably wouldn't, just to avoid any battles.

Just had one of the smart price 38p strawberry cheesecake things, wow!

Thats...

Students for ya!

Did I neglect to ever mention why I moved home?

Don't get me wrong, I'm sociable and like a laugh, but it all gets too much!

I thought about moving back into college this year but at 24 (old git eh???) I couldn't really be bothered with all the 18 year olds with the 'wow, we're away from home lets go mental' atitude (not that they're all like that of course).

Re: Hmmm....

Me too, she's very flirty with me too - just doubt the old gf would agree! lol

Anyway, by the sounds of it those sandwiches went down very well! ;)
