It would be easy with water: SHC of water is 4.2J/g/Degree C,

If the system has 1000cm^3 (we're talking small light bulb ok ) that's 1000grams, => If we measure the rise in temperature (assumption: 100% efficiency of system and no outside energy e.g. from sun's energy) we can use Delta enthalpy = mgdeltaTHETA where theta is the temperature. So, assuming in get the system up to 40 degrees from 20, that will mean 84KJ. However, such a system would require a more volatile liquid IMHO - the heat from bodies wouldn't be enough and due to water's high intermolecular bonding (due to hydrogen bonding) to make any steam and therefore useless.

What am I saying?! ALL THIS IS USELESS!

It's pretty hard this diet thing cos you need discipline and patience, all the things that are bad for us taste good and the things good for us taste rank! I've never done the diet thing but I watch what I eat and keep an eye on things. For inspiration maybe a goal or something needs to be set for the dieters out there?

Babysei: You must have pics of your 4st lighter frame somewhere so pin them to your kitchen cupboards (My Mum did this a while back before she was Diabetic)

the bad thing is u will only lose water, as soon as u have a drink u will put the weight back on again, if u ladies wanna lose weight fast get on the atkins diet or somethin similar... the high protein in the diet makes u actually eat less calories because it inhibits hunger, therefore u lose weight!
