Technical Water in passenger footwell

Hi we keep getting water in the passenger footwell and it’s coming from a metal unit behind a pull out panel on the centre console. The unit gets hot and water leaks from round a rubber bung that doesn’t fit very well. It seems to leak whether the ac is on or off.

Not sure if this part of the ac?

No and the water in the footwell is clear- thanks

Blocked scuttle drains... under the wiper mechanism.. is common
So rainwater backs up and dribbles down through the dash

But I dont recognise your 'rubber bung' description.. not having worked on a Qubo

Ok the scuttle drains are clear so it’s not that. I have attached pics of where the water is coming from

That is the bottom of your Heater box

Yellow clip looks like its related to the metal aircon tubing


Pull out the CabinFilter... is it sopping wet?

In the middle just above front section of the exhaust.

Turn A/C on first and if you sit it dripping from above the exhaust then it won't be that. If it is dripping from the left hand side near the sill anf front wing then the pipe will be blocked.

I pulled the heat shield away as it was squashing the drain pipe and lots of water came out. Hopefully that has solved it. Thanks for all your help.

It certainly worked for me and I am 99% sure it will for you too. Happy days.
