Do your front wipers come on when pull the stalk to operate the washer pump

Sounds like a faulty stalk to me. Seems The only thing that could cause it not to do both (wash and wipe). Especially if the washer works for the rear. I'm guessing the wipers work fine on their own when it's raining? I do believe you will need a whole clock spring and stalk unit. I also believe that it's an MOT failure if window washers don't work. :/

Might just be a connection issue however. As the stalk itself works for everything else.

Sounds like a failed stalk unit. I'd try being a bit 'firmer' with it and see if that works. Might be worth stripping down the switch unit before ordering a replacement as it might just need a clean up.

You will need to remove the steering wheel and airbag, and when you remove the steering wheel make sure you line up the steering so the wheels are straight and then secured the clock spring in the central location before stripping the switches down (y)

When I removed steering wheel it couldn't be fitted any other way but one. It had a indent in the back of it to stop it being able to twist.
