FIAT Bravo 2007 1.4 T-JET (not sure about the power)
I'm helping out my son. It seems the water pump and most likely the thermostat as well, need to be replaced. He says there is a lot of water under the engine when idling. The reservoir remains full meaning the thermostat didn't open.
Are there any pointers you can give me starting this project? Are there things I need to be careful about? We will also be replacing the timing belt. Please specifically advise on how to make sure we don't set out the timing.
I have read on some FIAT models it is a problem/challenge about the belt tensioner? Does the tensioner come off all the way?
I've searched the internet on a video on how to replace the water pump of this car but couldn't find any. Please point me to a video if there is one?
What replacement procedures of other FIAT engines are the same as the BRAVO 2007 1.4 T-JET? Then I can search for a video.
