As the title says was there ever any fire engine equiped abarth. I'm not talking about replicas but factory abarths. Basically i'm looking for ideas to detail my 1242

dont think so. fire engines are normally lower spec'd cars and the abarths were range toppers.

well..
The cinq abarth and the sei abarth both used 1108cc fire engines. although both werent proper abarths and only had addon skirts and bumpers etc rather than engine alterations like all the other abarths.
so theoreticaly, no! there isnt an abarth with a fire engine as the cinq and sei arent "abarths" as such and wernt a seperate model avaliable to purchase, the abarth parts were optional extras to be added to a sporting at the time of purchase.

So the engine looked stock then , i wanted something different. Maybe i'll just engrave abarth on the stock valve cover , who's to know, at least it will deserve that name!!

they stopped making "real" abarths after the strada 130TC abarth didnt they? So no FIRE engine was around then..
The Strada Abarth was made up to about 1987 ('D' or 'E' reg I think). The FIRE engine came out in 1985 ('C' reg). You never know, maybe there is an Abarth FIRE engine hiding under a defunct Abarth workbench somewhere in Italy!
