VIN plate help,

Hi all, i have a Fiat 127,registered in 1978.

is there any way of working out the date the car was made from the VIN plate.

Or maybe, are there any records to file any where,

i know with my Range Rover,i spoke with the heritage centre in Gaydon.

Is there a place like that for Fiats?

Yes i thought i may buy it a card,its the big 4 0, very soon

mines only got 7 digit VIN/chassis tag.

Maybe try one of the Established specialist places.

Ones that must lookup this stuff daily..
