Technical van will not start

van is 1991 t/d 2449 cc ducato hymer motorcaravan.
i was prepping for MOT when notced had tail/stop light not working, so turned on ignition without starting engine fixed lights by replacing fuse but now van will not start.
turns over fast(new battery) could i have burnt something out leaving ignition on for about five minutes?
i think it has flame glow plug pre ignition.

check fuses and wiring to stop solenoid on the pump
