Hey,
I'm going to have a stab at painting my valve cover as well as clean and sort other little bits in my engine bay in the coming days.
I've ordered a new gasket, paint, sandpaper e.t.c.
Is this just a case of undo the bolts on each corner holding the cover down, whip it off, sand it down, give it a couple coats of VHT paint, pull/scrape the old gasket off, fit the new one and screw it all back together?
Am I overthinking this or is it really that simple?
I've read the guide for the SPi sei but it doesn't look to me like I need to mess with the throttle cable to get it off, do I? If so how's that done?
Bonus Question, is my old cracked plastic manifold cover actually necessary? I feel like the engine bay would look a lot better with the mani exposed rather than the disgusting cover in my Sei.
Cheers.
