I doubt it was a Twin Turbo Audi TT? I drove the 3.2 V6 (DGS - two clutches etc.) around Silverstone GP track this summer (a week after the F1 race) and it was awesome, although it's heavy, the 250BHP odd takes it 0-60 in around 6 seconds and is limited to 155 - not that Silverstone is straight enough to get up to that.

The "paddle shift" on the v6 3.2 is something special, as mentioned it's DGS (I think that's what it is called) and I think it means it has 2 gearboxes and 2 clutches to make gear changing pretty much instant and very smooth. I kept it on auto so didn't find out (I was **** scared at over-revving etc. lol)

Oh and just to add, this person at work during the summer argued with me for hours about whether the 3.2 V6 was a Twin Turbo, stating TT stood for it so it had to be.....it's not, at least not from the factory.

Ha ha! I would have liked to be part of that one!
I thought that none of the TT's were twin turbo?

I though the range was like this:

150bhp single turbo
180bhp single turbo
220/225 single turbo
250bhp normally aspirated v6

Perhaps the 220bhp version is twin turbo, but I doubt it - The Seat Leon Cupra R is the same bhp from the same engine (1.8 Turbo).

Most TTs are kind of, but the 3.2 lives up to some of the performance expected from a car like that IMO. There's better for the money though it was a fun drive :)

Well I did work at an asylum for people with lower intelligence than the average pig :)

I can't comment exactly, as you have said the 220BHP could be a TT, that's what I always assumed but have never looked it up. You're definately right about the V6 though :)

Silverstone driving school have quite a few if you want to "borrow" them, mine had less than 100 miles on or something silly!
