cleaned down my calipers the other nite, ready to be sprayed this weekend which is what im currently doin but theyre drying at mo!

before, dirty calipers

after (doesnt look much but it took me bloody ages to get em this clean!!!)

and today, ive been to buy paint ofr the calipers, and picked up my new HUGE polished alloy plenum to intercooler hose! Its the same size diameter as my intercooler outlets so maximum air flow hehe!

heres my old skanky metal pipe

and heres my new one

what u think? off out now to carry on!

i told u all i wasnt gonna go halfs on this UT!! all or nothing cant wait to write out my silly spec list at the end when its finished! if any of u want ot buy it when its finished ur gonna have to have some serious ££££ for me

small update for you all, these calipers are taking a while to do! hate waiting for paint ot dry lol! im too impatiant!

undercoating with a nice brown primer, oooo how pretty lol

ooooo, how i soooo want brown calipers

anyway, get a few coats of red on and looking much better hehe!

theyve got a few more on now, but not taken pics! gotta spray the back of em either in a bit or tomoz after work!

then i'll fit my new white brembo stickers and spray the laquer over the top hehe

heres my new stickers

and i got a free playboy bunny for some unknow reason?!?!?!? dont ask why! anyway, gonna stick it on my mates UT when he's not looking lol

Wow, very smart, glad to see you arent putting the playgirl sticker on though! Got to admit i was in two minds wether or not the calipers would look any good red as being silver as standard they looked awesome but they do look a bit sexy dont they lol! Keep up the good work!

guess laqering over the top of the decals will give them a bit more prtection too

I take it their alu calipers? hence why they aren't rusted and all porous looking like cast iron jobs?


Looking good though, although I would have stuck with a fresh coat of satin silver and some black stickers/vinyl type stickers (apparenlty near heatproof )

take it you've got some nice goodridge hoses to go on aswell? If you haven't you might aswell!! they are only like £30 a pair! (for bikes they cost £25 each, and I need two ), which ain't much more than std black plastic flexi;s

personally i think th red looks alot better and will go better with my red hoses, the red strips on the bumpers/sideskirts and my red cage, dont u?

braided hoses a good upgrade for any car? ie if i got round to fitting gt calliper lol

yeah charlie, braided hoses are an excellent upgrade especially with gt claipers!

anyway, managed to stick the stickers on, bodged this one up a bit tho as u can see

also they look alot redder in the fleash! look a little brown in this pic lol
