The only solution along these lines in the Panda I believe is to fit an aftermarket stereo or look on eBay for one of those Auxiliary In kits, but check your standard radio supports it.

no use to me,as my poverty spec panda ( 57 plate) has no ciggy socket, :bang:
hence the realisation that a USB socket on an aftermarket radio would save LOTS of grief.,
There's a guide on how to install a power socket on here. Check to see if you have the wiring already in place. If it is, you're more than half way there.
I've installed one of these using the standard 100HP double DIN CD/radio, you can still use the CD player and it works great. I've used double sided tape and mounted the unit on the centre console next to the steering column.
