Upgrading the Headunit

Hi

I am abit of a music mad kinda guy and had a fairly high SQ set up in my previous car.

Is there anyway to keep the steering controls and the Blue & me controls if I move to an aftermarket headunit?

so this means if i change the headunit as well i wont be able to some how still use the microphone thats already built into the car for a handsfree system?

i like the handsfree part of blue and me just hate the mp3 bit..
