Nice seats! From an Astra GTE I take it ;) Have you worked out how to fit them yet? The original Uno seats used an integral parallelogram frame to fit them to the floor pan runners and also bolted down at the front. You might have find another way of fitting the Recaros as the Uno seat runners aren't easy to remove.

What about the rear seats? Are you going to keep them standard or removing them entirely?

Just realised that I've never commented on your thread before - whoops! Have to say that in general your Uno is looking good, and it's nice to see one so young NOT plastering their car in Halfords crap and thinking the Storm body kit looks good :)yuck:)

Keep the changes subtle and you'll enhance the looks of the Uno. So far you're doing a good job (y)

But saying that, I'm not so sure about the tumble drier pipe arrangement for the air intake!

yup the seats are from Astra GTE, we took off the badges so i can buy Recaro ones at a later date.

talking of halfrauds im thinking of getting a job there!

anyways, I think my dad wants to make a subframe for them out of the old one and new box section that we have.
as for the rear seats, IMO i hate them and would have them out of it and much rather box it up for storage or ICE but my ates think i should keep them in....sponging little sods!
i currently have no seat belts in the rear, another point to take into consideration for the removal :)

ohhh yeah about the tumble drier pipe....well i couldn't find anything else to fit over the air filter and injection so i thought i maye aswell lol
i've not seen any not Turbo induction kits..

If your engine is a 1.0 FIRE engine, a K&N Induction kit for a mk1 Punto 1.1 will fit straight on!
it will look like this :)

nice job on the car btw!!!
looks smart! definitly remove the rear seats :)

how did you manage to lower it on 16"s?
mine seriously rubbed when i fitted 15"s!

wow, that engine looks exactly the same :|
Oh will have a look for one then :) thanks!
it rubs slighty on the back arches inside behind the wheel, the front rubs on full-lock so its not too bad. the shocks were banged a little to fit the 16s :)

wow, that engine looks exactly the same :|

thats because it is the same, its my old uno fire :p glad you like it!

i personally say polished is better, and it doesnt cost anything if you have a sander and dremel!
but out of the pictures you supplied the red one looks pretty rad!
you could have a theme - red silicone hoses, red strutbrace, red induction kit etc!

haha its looks great, see that how my i want my engine bay to look but all red :)
Im sticking with a red theme, not tacky stuff but interior light, boot neon, rear speakers and sub lol
How much did that cost to do all the pipe work?

ung

Insurance and age depending im presumming?

well wouldnt mind if i hade the money, but i can't afford it, and i thinking of a punto mk1 sporting perhaps after uno, or a cinq...either in broom yellow :p

revival of this thread :D
I ran into a small problem for my ICE, i have no where to mount my monitor, the only place i can find to fit my monitor when it flipss out and up is in the glove box.
Im thinking of custom runners and then it comes out and the flips up
lol
also still have to get a core plug, no places locally do them :bang:
