General Uno Mk2 Project

fitted a punto aerial base with a beesting aerial at the rear now :)
Got a Brava Air intake and modified the original bracket too.
It looks good cant wait to hear it too.
Amp and Sub are nearly wired up, the amp is now under my seat mounted with a red neon
next on my list is to smooth all the body work, thats the:
Bonnet
Boot
doors
grille
and the previous aerial mounting hole!

crap quality pic of the air filter, im going to be using a cicrular metal plate, to plug up the holes and act as a giant washer to create an equal pressure down to make it air tight all round

can you get a pic up of your seat brackets? i wanted to change my seats, got a set or recaros out of my old xr2i. dont know how the hell to get them to fit into my uno.

nice job on your uno so far, looking good(y)

i have one on my other computer i think!
we used some box section etc.
and thanks :D
im kinda trying to hide stuff now! lol
i dont like my ICE showing, looks chavvy so im thinkin of a stealth shelf.
or no parcel shelf and a small build build instead with a sub and speakers

ok so you basically made your own from scratch.
ive got 6x9s in shelf but only cos the shelf already had holes lol, currently making my boot build, will share pics if and when it gets completed

Whoop Another install!!
Thanks for the comments on mine :)
You mentioned a monitor..i would get hold of a Uno turbo rear view mirror and build a screen into that maybe built it on top of your rear view mirror out of fiberglass??
Anyway keep up the good work!!

i dont like my sub enclosure.
The monitor is the shape of the HU and flips out :)
so i will probably be creating a wooden frame and have a bit for the monitor to come out in the boot (y)

Tested my sub lol, still installing my amp
need inline fuse holders now! Got a neon under the drivers chair wired up to my ash tray control panel :p:D
I placed my minimoto in the uno for a while due to lack of space...and its growing on me., i think i found its new home
Tidied up the engine bay with blue hosing on my wiring that i've done and looks much cleaner :)

finally wired up my amp and sub today so they are working!
Its my first install ive done and the first time iv heard them working since i bought them. Its loud lol
I need to get some dynamat stuff now. But it seems my HU doesnt have a RMT lead so i am going to have to wire up to a live feed and make it switch operated which isnt a problem (y)
Im really happy i got it all working fine, next to wire up my 6*9s with the amp and then to find some fronts and wire them to the HU :)
also need to make up a bracket/slides for my monitor out of the glove box! :yum:
got my work set out for me but really focusing on my MT5 bike

Hey, a few ideas...

I know you were thinking about colour coding the bumpers but not sure whether to do them half or full... well I reckon you should fully 'code the bumpers, stick the numberplate central on the lip of the bumper and remove the side rubbing strips on the doors & rear quarters.

Maybe not for you, but that's what I'd do. :)
