none of the wheels rub due to work done already and we were thinking of painting them anthracite.
I would like some arches but cant find any anywhere :(
 
finally got some pics today! whilst weather was good.
Opinions please :) oh and there is no rust at the moment as i got rid of that after photos.

Nice work mate looks like its getting there eh. Deffo needs lowering, mesh the grille, get some clear front indicators and side repeaters then a nice tail pipe on the back and sorted!!!
Maybe some white/red mark 2 turbo tail lights on the back, though they are quite hard to get hold of these days.
What else you got planned for it???

well i am getting mesh soon, I was planning on lowering the uno about 30-35mm.
I wouldnt mind some clear lenses. Im trying to get hold of a headunit and maybe a motorised screen which ive seen in local car shop.
I'd like a 3" round backbox and colour coded bumpers.
Im gunna start to finish of the boot which i need to make up some brackets for my solenoids for boot. and doors.
Its hard to get all this as im only just turned 16 and no job - no money
atm i only have 140+ to spend!

got a 7" in dash monitor. Needs wiring up which will be done soon. I have a mutant headunit on its way and i have some money left over for a Power Inverter for a PS2!

Hey,
Im really starting to make progress with lots of parts i think, but one thing atleast i have sitting waiting to be fitted is my new water pump, anyone ever replaced one before that can give me tips and instructions on replacing my existing one.
I have a splx 10" subwoofer ready to go in, and i have a 3 1/2 inch exhaust - slightly too large but it was going cheap.

I hate shops! I went all the way to mk to buy a mutant head unit from asda, i got there and saw them and was thinking great! and there were some little dvd boxes which usually show that they are in stock. I got to the service desk to find they have none! I mean their 'stock selection' was so poor its like a small cabinet, for the size of shop and produts they offer i expected alot better.
Well today i got a 3.5" back box which i've been trying to fit today, ive had to cut and weld piping to fit the shape. Nearly have it fully fitted. Did some bodywork getting rid of rust and painting.

i also fitted a few small things like a fire extinguisher

Just ordered my new Mutant Head unit 4x50w :D
just need amp and some new 6" speakers for parcel shelf and im ready.
I did some work today, got no where with the back box today as ran out of welding gas.
But i got white dials fitted and fixed the dash board dial light, now they actually glow (y):D
for my bumpers i think im going to go for top black and bottm white:idea:. also i painted the bottom side white from black and it looks neater. All the rust from drivers side has gone :) and i just have above the passenger door lock to get rid of! I have my Jamex Lowering kit coming very soon (i think next week - not sure on that one) so its all coming together!:yum:
Can i see some peoples uno ICE installs:confused:

Cool got any pictures? the rears are really easy, if I recall undo a couple of bolts, drop rear arm being careful to provide support so as not to screw your brakes, pull out old sprinsg and fit new ones.
 
pretty much, i may need some spring compressors for the fronts. Need to have a look at that this weeken. I also ordered my ISO wiring harness last night for a fraqction of the price in halfords. I need some new speakers and do i have to have an amp wired to the sub?

Shame about the lack of posts here...I'm enjoying reading up on how things are going with the project gav, from your sig pic it looks like its all coming together rather nicely ;) be good to get more pics up though, get a better idea of how its all looking :p

Yeah my camera is lets just put it , ****e. The only good ones i can get hold of is my mum's and shes tight.
Will get some pics up this wknd hopefully. No rust rear (hopefully front) lowered, Head Unit and my carpeted boot :p
