lol,yea your right,if you need to brake you got handbrake and footbrake why have traction control braking for you.

because you'll always get someone with no judgement or car control that overcooks it and makes a mess

some people need restrained for everyones safety!

I've just had a tyre last only 2K. I learned a lesson, don't try to park up on the kerb on the opposite side of the road. I completely misjudged the angle and left myself a cut in the sidewall. It didn't get as deep as the steelwork, so it will wait to the end of the week when my tyre of choice should be delivered.

The rim protection bead did its job though, only very fine scratches to the alloys, for which I am thankful.

I buy Budget brands really as 1) they are cheap and 2) I want to test them for myself. I have not been disappointed yet.

Back to the subject.

In 41,000 miles I have had 3 sets of tyres on the front of my 1.9 MJet GPS, including the originals Bridgestones. I drive safely, quickly when safe and legal definitely not like Miss Daisy (I'm a biker FFS we dont do slow)

However I still have the original Bridgestones on the rear, so I dont get the question really Daz sorry...

I just fitted some BF Good Rich 155/80 R13 on the Panda. Anybody had these before and if so, were they any good? Pretty cheap too at £32 each (+VAT)

The 1st observation i made, after 10,000 miles on ECO tyres, the BF's are a lot quieter! A lot less road noise, but they are brand new i suppose.

I change my wheels front to back so get even wear on tyres and change 4 at one time (when they get down to 3mm as opposed to 1.6mm). I'd got 25K miles out of my EcoContact tyres on my Multijet Panda when I changed to the Winter wheels. They've got 3.5mm all round so will get four new tyres when I change back to the alloys...
