Hello everyone. I’ve recently bought a second hand fiat 500e Red. Lovely drive. However, I’m wondering if there’s any way to temporarily turn the headlights off at night when stationary and ‘handbrake’ applied but still with the motor on? The reason is that I live in a very hilly area, tiny narrow lanes, lots of negotiation and plenty of local etiquette. Sometimes a car I meet will reverse uphill to a passing point very near them. To prevent them being partially blinded while reversing in my old and pretty basic cars I’ve always turned lights to sidelights only, but I can’t find a way to do this in the 500e. I’m also used to flicking very briefly to side lights to thank other drivers in the dark as opposed to flashing high beam. Any ideas anyone, or do I just have to accept that I’ll be unable to extend this courtesy any more?
