my cam cover has that "cream" it was white... but now its got oil ground into it
Time motorsports make polished alloy ones and you can get them online from incinq, still not cheap though at £120 but you can get a 10% discount through Cento Rebles

make one... ghetto style just wrap the old header in tin foil worked on my mates car when we "made" him some alloy dished rims... chrome wiper blades, spoiler and a go faster stripe

awesome cheers! it has to be done... wouldnt look right without it... just like those shoes i had to buy.. they made me do it...
anyway on a more serious note, are there any problems with having an alloy header tank? ie getting too hot etc.
Nope no issues at all except it is just more to polish
That one from incinq doesn't look like its got a sight tube. Others I have seen have a clear tube with a float ball in them so you can see the level of the water.

nope, def not at my dads, i checked with him and the tank he chucked def didnt have anything attatched.
So, battle will recommence a week from today.

It is today.
I have been to the vehicle recyclers, and got a working fuel pump.
That was fun. Cento balancing precariously on top of a Bravo (kinky). Bravos have no foot or hand hold on their sides.
