Well it all went wonderfully at the show today. Looked great and got alot of attention and some fantastic commets, been smiling all day.
Had my bonnet open and people were crowding round looking at the conversion, seemed to be impressed
yeah yeah i know,
Oh yes, shes the great pretender,
Pretending she actually goes
her need is such to show off too much
at least nobody will know...
i spent a long while on the engine bay, tooth brushes, scrubbing brushes, cotton buds then when i couldnt clean no more... black paint
The vectra did well too, i was so nervous about towing burple, didnt like the idea of being able to write off my 3 most valuable posesions in one foul swoop! But it all went very smoothly and it coped well.
il get some pics up when i'm not so knackerd!!
Need to say a huge big thanks too David for his hard work so far to make the comments and attention it got possible ( and making it possible to get into the top 50 for the 3rd year in a row!!)
Helz for putting up with my excitement and getting excted with me, and guiding me when reversing the trailer! Dave and Ian for pushing burple and helping her on the trailer. You guys Rock! :slayer:

Sounds like she has grown accustomed to being a trailer queen already, if the prima donna wouldnt even drive on/off

On the plus side she didn't throw a hissy fit by not wanting to go on the trailer, she must be liking being a glorified ornament.

I have found another pump set today, and surprise surprise, the pump has seized.
Will strip it when I get back from Londinium and I am hosting Burple next weekend, for an intense rectification and wiring session.
I am glad the Prima Donna got the attention she craves, I guess burple got a few views too!!

For what it is, it's OK, but the turbo is probably too big. Lots of work to make that fit a Cinq or Sei -- it's a universal kit.

its her spec sheet hun, ive not got it on this computer
it says 'Do not lift the autoglym sheet'
yup that about sums it up. Kicking myself for not buying that chrome header tank that was on ebay a while back, although it did go for silly money.
I really like the white engine bay detail
Its not white, its cream, to match the wheels and details.
