ooo more parts pillaging, i wonder just how many cars have contributed to the tale of burple.
I've got a Cinquecento Sporting and I am wanting to put a small turbo on it, just a few things I need to know;
Is there a chance it could blow the engine up or have any other affects on it?
How much does will it cost for the conversion?
Is it alot of work?
Is it worth it in the long run?

Had a similar comment from an american friend i was telling about the car.
him " so you getting about 600 bhp then?"

Wouldn't dare, besides its only got a small quantity of old normal unleaded in it. I think it will benefit from some fresh Optimax.
The MF2 lights up like a christmas tree, I've mounted it like allenhelen in the cubby.

Got a gallon of Optimax this morning, run it for 15 minutes. Still very smokey, but it is getting gradually less.
Fan working fine holding the temp steady.

Well I dont know where to start. Cant believe the time has came where by my little dream of turboing burple has actually came true. Its been a long but enjoyable battle, with burple throwing all she had at us! Hurdles which seemed huge a few months ago, seem like a distant memory.
It wasnt just the fitting of a turbo kit, but all the trials and tribulaitons that go along with it. I'm so glad that I had someone there who in my eyes, is an expert with these little cars. To ensure that not only was the job completed, but that every last little detail was finished to perfection and every hurdle burple gave us, not bodged but sorted properly. It took a while to ensure everything was done properly, but I know in the long run this will be something that will ensure the conversion withstands the pressures it will face.
I dont know if its possible for me to express how thankfull I am to David for all his hard work, the many hours, many miles and many nights labouring over a burple bay. I know deep down that without him this would have remained a dream, as his expertise and knowledge base has been invaluable. So if it means anything at all David, I am so so so gratefull for what you have done for me. I can never thank you enough.
I would also like to take some time to thank everyone who helped on the forum. For those who provided the wealth of knowledge that they have, to ensure this dream became a reality. Having such a knowledgable group of people, who have been there, done that and can pass on thier experiences and expertise. I hope one day this thread will also help out others who will be in the same boat.
I would also like to extend the thanks to the others on this thread who have gave thier support and contributed with well wishes and some encouragement, as it has been needed i can asure you! It Has been amazing to have recieved so many messages of hope and people expressing how they have enjoyed the journey along with us.

insurance has been informed, didnt hit me too hard thankfully. I cant belive i can actually go out and drive her now! although, the tubro will need broken in gently. Also does anyone know why the eml (injectory light thing) would be flashing on start up then remain on? also the light sequence on the mf2, i notice it flashes red up and down with the revs - is this what its suppose to do? does it do anything else?
