I just centered the steering wheel on mine, it took about 5 mins.
Disconnect battery
Two screws hold in the horn at the back of the steering wheel, remove.
Gently slip horn unit out from front.
With a Large socket (cant recall size) slacken of center nut, dont remove completely!
Then pull or tap steering wheel off as far as the nut will allow, now remove nut.
Use best guess to locate the steering wheel in correct position.
Now do the above in reverse.
You are best driving for a few m before coming to a stop to make sure its centered. Leaving the nut on makes sure you cant smash your self in the face when pulling.
I am about to have a TIG welder delivered and one of my first thoughts is to have some flanges laser cut and make some decent tubular four branch manifolds for the 999 Fire engined Panda. Anyone else possibly interested in one if I can get a decent prototype made up?
I work a lot with the Ford 1600 CVH ( fitted in the Morgan 4/4 ) and the manifold upgrade is the one that keeps on giving as it livens up a standard engine no end, giving better torque low down and much freer revving at the top end. On an engine with a decent ported and gas flowed head it still makes all the difference and it really isn't worth porting and gas flowing without a high flow manifold.
Nearly finished recomissioning the black beast, a 1991 twin sunroofer, my sixth Panda, been off road four years after a particularly brutal attempted theft!
