OK, I get the point about the engine swap -- is the Panda engine bay really that much smaller than a Cinq one?
Obvious things are pure maintenance -- get the poor old engine working as it ought to: cut the valves in, check valve clearances, re-shim. Costs pence, and the seal at the valves is probably the most important in the engine in terms of performance.

Most Punto heads are already fitted to a fire engine, might as well just use that.Can you fit a Punto head to a fire engine or is it not feasible?

It's the way this section has run for sometime...so yes. Having said that if a valid tangent crops up then a new thread could be handy... I.E. the literature question..
^ i think the panda classic section does need a dedicated "Panda Related Literature" thread.. would be most epic if we could get some PDF's of say.. the sales brochures.. and lets not forget all those ones showing off all the lovely fiat panda extras.
i must admit, theres been a few times that i have wanted to see what extras you could get for the 4x4.
