I've been driving an old Fiat Panda for a while, and whilst the CD player is decent, it seems to have issues with MP3 disks. I know it can play MP3 disks (or has the capability to do so considering the display has "MP3" as an option), and I've even looked into the manuals here, but had no luck. I've got a Blaupunkt CD, which looks like this:
The manual says that this CD player can use MP3 disks provided the tracks are between 22-44.1kHz, are specifically .mp3 (ie no .wav or .ogg files), and that the titles have no spaces, no apostrophes, and no brackets. I've made a CD that should, by all rights, work with the CD player. But I slot the disk in and get told there's an error, whereupon it spits the disk out and returns to FM radio.
If anyone has had previous experience with these types of CD players, I would greatly appreciate your help!
