Should i steer clear of Multiplas for sale with a tow bar fitted? or do they fair pretty well as work horses?
Maybe it belonged to someone like me, who had the towbar fitted specifically to let me put a bike carrier on it? The Multipla diesel was voted Tow Car of the Year at least once, and I have subsequently pulled a large trailer on mine and can say that, yes, it does make a good workhorse.

Bear in mind also Emm, some people fit tow bars just for protection and not necessarily for towing![]()
Yeah sort of it helps when ypu reversing and it also helps if someone drives into as it stops your car from getting damaged unless its a fast impact in which case it can actually cos more harm than good.i dont understand,do you mean as and 'extra' reversing 'bumper'?

the air bag warning light stays on though when you have the front passenger seat out, but it's only a light so it's no problem.![]()
Air bag light comes on to let you know that there is a fault in the circuit, it will still be active.
I think there's a weight sensor in the seat to change how the airbag on the dash deploys so taking the seat out means disconnecting it ... and then the light on the dash goes on.
