Hi guys, apologies if this has been asked before.

My wife's car, Panda Wild Twinair 4X4 2023, has a 7" touchscreen and it has worked fine albeit you had to hook up the phone via a usb cable but no big deal.

The phone's We were using were iPhone minis (12 & 13) and they worked fine with the touchscreen ie displayed the phone's apps, maps, texts and so on but we've just replaced the phones with iPhones 17s and the apps and screen has changed (below) I can connect easily to the touchscreen/car via Bluetooth but there's no apps now.

I tried using a cable and it's no difference when I check the iPhone's Bluetooth settings the car's radio is now listed as uConnect whereas with the older phones I'm sure it was listed as CarPlay so no idea why it's changed but I have a van which has CarPlay and I can clearly see that listed in the phone settings but the Fiat is listed as Uconnect and on my wife's iPhone the Panda is listed as Uconnect her phone doesn't list my van as we've not connected it to my van.

Anyone know how to sort this or what's happened?

Thanks

Tony

I solved this issue guys.

I bought a Belkin USB-A>USB-C cable from Argos for £7.

Cheap cables and adapters don’t work the cable needs to be a data and power cable and the cable has to be short at roughly 1meter in length.

Apple don’t make a cable but do sell a Belkin one for about £20.
