just been looking at your website, your car looks tops mate, I like that add on your rear bumper, have you got one on the front too, you can't really tell in those photos?
Thanx TC (y) The add on is very similar in style to the side skirts, it sits at pretty much the same height and makes the back end look a lot more aggressive and square so i'm well pleased with it. There's not one on the front though.
I done a photoshop of the front end with the MS-design extension on it and it looked a little bit cheep on that car.

I think that he will be let down by you lot as we were when actually said time to put you hand in your pockets.

The maths is to cover his £4k cost at £195 he needs 20 1.6 Stilo's - and thats before he makes a living. When we said we couldn't do them 30+ people said mememememee then only 3 came forward when we said time to be honest.

As long as it is remapping then go for it. Let me know how you get on. Its going to be interesting to see how he remaps that chip though.

a few places have came back and said the will but with silly prices like £400 so i presume its possible to remap

Yeah sorry, there is a way as we were going to do it... but it’s not pretty and it will invalidate your warranty. The reason we were going to charge £330 was to recoup cost and a make a living. £4k between 20 people sounds fine in principal until you take al the other overheads into consideration, insurance, guarantees, etc etc.

only to be let down by all the people that wanted it in the first place!

Hey TC - where have I heard that before with Stilo owners...... you have my utmost sympathy as I help Purplemonday launch the damn thing back last year at Brooklands - mind you having his 5 door Allegro there didnt help ;-)

im probably going to look a prat here but never mind
i was under the impression that remaping cannot be picked up there for could not void any gurantees, insurance etc

Remapping when done via direct pin out or the OBD port isnt detectable, however in the cases where this cant be done (like this I beleive) then you have to crack the ECU, bridge some of the connectors before you start, in otherwords you are physically having to do something, but how detectable it is afterwards is an unknown to me as we have never bothered trying it.

The remapping itself is physically undetectable but the method of doing it (in this case - I may be wrong, and I hope I am for you guys) may not be. We do not open any ECU to do anything, however we do take some of of the petrol ECU's off the car to do it but they are not tampered with.
So no, you aint a prat mate, quite a sensible question!

its seems to be getting as bad as putting a resistor of some sort to cause heat over the sensors when you start modifying the ecu pins. becuase surely one pin out of place and its bye bye ECU
