Does anyone have the torque settings for the flywheel to crankshaft bolts? Can you reuse the bolts? What is the recommended gearbox oil? Thanks

Model
Fiat Panda 1.1 Active
Year
2005
Mileage
125000
Size M8 x 1.25 x 22

Part number FIAT 55211902

Crankshaft side) 1.4 - 1.6 + 38° - 42° in (daNm)

So 15Nm + 40°

Counter-torque tool 1.860.846.000 not strictly needed

Yes they should be changed

Torque-to-Yield (TTY) Bolts should be replaced

Pack of 8x work out at about a quid each

Funny someone on evilbay is selling them at £10 each

I uploaded a lot of torque values for Panda 169 in the downloads tab.
This is just a just a reminder to peope to check the downloads resources as there is a lot of info in there all organised into sections for different vehicles. Have a rummage folks best done before you are struggling. And do add anything useful you come across too.

M8 seems very small for said application though.

Click the orange download button

Lower arm pinch bolts is wrong, Haynes did a 500/panda combo and used the 500 torque, the 500buses a larger size bolt

500 and 312 Panda have a M10 bottom arm pinch bolt.
Fist 500 7707587 M10
Fiat panda 169 7601061 M8

If you tighten the pinch bolt as per the download above it will twist it right off, as many people already have

The torque setting is correct for the 500 not the panda

Will that setting still apply to the bolt on my car which is a 13mm socket size, I can't find it in the downloads.

Are we mixing up spanner size and thread size

Thread size M8,9,10,11 and so on is the diameter of the threaded part of the bolt, and not the socket size

I seen these get mixed up before

Thanks for that but wouldn't an 8mm thread be a little thin for the bolt I'm referring to.
Koarlar says the torque value is 20 nm plus 90 degrees, I'd be scared of it snapping.

Post 2 is flywheel bolt, it's confusing as the thread has been used for two different things

Reading back I am getting confused

Crankshaft bolt should be M11

So, I did the job yesterday and the bolt had a R/H thread, unfortunately I forgot to measure the diameter of the thread.
I took a photo of the bolt, and I've tried to post it via mobile/tablet and desktop but to no avail, but anyway I've established that the bolt has a R/H thread not a L/H one.
