General Top Speed

Hi Folks,

Has anyone pushed there Panda to max yet?.
On our way home from holiday I opened our sporting up, and it nipped up to over the ton with no probs what so ever. Yet i think the book says 99 top speed. I hasten to add this was done at 3 in the morning on a very quiet M6 just on ths Scottish border with a wife fast asleep, and 2 suitcases that would have held the QE2 in place, plus going uphill.
Not bad at all for such a small power unit.

Is it the 1.2 8v?

My 1.3 MultiJet does 170 km/h on its speedometer.

With the chiptuning it had before the needle would go up to little over 190 km/h.

My Sporting has read just over 100mph on the speedo. Didn't see what speed it was on the GPS though, as the test track was kind of busy. :devil: I think there was a little bit more to come too. Fuel economy was reading about 30 mpg at that speed though.
