General Tire size

So I have a 2013 500 sport with 195/45 16s on it. And I need some ground clearance. Around here the roads are beating the crap out of the poor car. Has anyone used 195/60 16s? They have a 1.1 inch taller sidewall and same width. and cheaper too. Any help would be greatly appericated!

Your US 500 is quite different to the European model

In the UK people go for 15" rims and even taller sidewalls..

But I dont know if the US got 15"
(We also got 14" steels.. but our cars are lighter)
