in a couple of weeks im going to be attempting to tint my back windows and a few other mods (im going to start a thread on it i think) and i wanted a fiatforum sticker in the back 2 windows and i was wondering would i need to put that on before i tint or will it show through when ive applied the tint? and also does anyone know how big they are? are they tiny or will they run along the full length of my rear 2 windows?
Any help is appreciated :D

Absolutely do not put them on underneath the tint. The little black bubble pattern around the edge of the window causes bubbles like you wouldn't believe, a sticker will make this even worse; don't do it!

funny i have a fiat forum sticker on my back window, inside showing through tint and i think it looks pretty good tbh

and i haven't had any problems

lol thats what i thought would happen but ive never done anything like this before, its my first car really and its kinda like a running project for me so you will probably see more of my posts on here asking stupid questions lol

the black dots around my windows cause me a nightmare when tinting, trust fiat to stick that on the window lol. still looked good after some hard work mind
well im going to buy a 6m roll i think just so i have a few mistakes worth of tint left lol and yeah ive heard from other people the black dots are a bitch to tint and that the pin is awfull to get in and out :bang:

Just noticed this quote from their website
"A lot of windows now have what is known as a DOT MATRIX effect around the outside edges and this can cause the film to sit slightly proud of the glass but this is nothing to worry about. The only other problem is airborne dirt and dust. We obviously keep everything as spotless as possible, but short of working in a vacuum (not healthy) tiny bits of minute dust will settle on the glass as we lay the film, 99% of the time under normal conditions you will not even notice them. This is the reason we, under normal circumstances, do not offer a mobile tinting service. How could we possibly do a clean job at the side of the road!"

They seem to be pretty top class they might even be able to offer electrochromic variable tint film.

hi fella you have to drill the pin out and you dont want to pay any than 100 for the rear 3 windows if you have not done it yet i can talk you through it if you like just pm me

Nah i havnt done it yet, im gonna get a quote from them in next few days and if its too expensive for me to afford im gonna attempt them myself (y)

I had ago myself, only done the back 2 windows so far..

Messed 1 window up twice but by the 3rd time sort of got the hang a bit.. its very stressful and hard tho :)

Looks ok, only thing i find is the fact you can see some dust speckles if looking close..

From any standing distance it looks fine

well i think that im gonna get a quote and if its too expensive give it one go myself so i wont be wasting too much money and then if i balls that up il just save until i can afford the pros to do it (y)
