i have a bit of belt noise, well quite a bit of belt noise actually. i had to remove and re-seal the water pump as it had a slight leak, the car is back together and i got some bad belt noise, im not sure if its the cam belt tentsioner or maybe alternator belt.
i did have the noise before, but only at about 1500rpm and no where near as bad, the cam belt has only done about 7k miles. i think maybe i set the tensioner too tight to be honest, whats the general rule for setting it? i set it to twist nearly half way around on the longest run.
i recorded the sound and uploaded to a file stream site.
