Time to Mod.....

Warranty runs out end of this month (LOL), this has put me off modding as i know the garage i bought the car from would void it if they found out i had been tinkering. I have been waiting to get my hands dirty , but i dont know what mods the car would react best to?, i have been told that the exhaust restricts the bravo quite a bit, Any ideas?. Its a 1.8 HLX 1999.

you got a 5 year warrenty with your car then? pretty good! mine's just ran out (3 year warrenty) but i had added an induction kit to mine and it didn't affect the warrenty, although i know that they could be arsey about it.

do you fancy the car sitting lower?

i'm doing these next, lowered and 17's cos it just looks so nice like that!

there's plenty of peeps on here who can help you out with the best exhaust to get, i've not got to that stage yet.

iv got a full powerflow with a custom tail pipe they welded on for me, it sounds mad you can hear the 5 cylinders through the exhaust its really deep and sounds even better when you put your foot down, but i felt i lost a bit of power when i did this, i don't really care about the power that much but if you don't hav a hgt then it probably won't sound as nice!!

Got the rims sorted a couple of weeks ago, Lenso Reizen 17's, im gonna lower it end of this month. But i feel like the car pick up through the revs a lot quicker than it does. Any ideas?

Toooooooo much alcohol this weekend, i cant even string a thread together LOL. What i meant was the revs do not pick up as rapidly as i would like. It pulls well but not as revy as i would like.

Thats cos you have bigger wheels now...bigger the wheels the slower the pick up, just got to make sure you give her a lot of revs to compansate!

Dont worry i have been giving it a ragging all weekend. Cooked the breaks on saterday, i have never seen so much arch smoke in my life. Ordering my tar-ox discs and pads next week as i have buggered mine. I am heaitant as to whether i buy a induction kit or not, i have heard that power is lost with certain filters, any ideas?. Does a stainless exhaust make a heck of a difference to the power?.
