Technical Time adjustment

Hi guys
Recently I have an issue with the time.
Even though I set it via the car settings and I verify on the display that the time is correct, every now and then, the time showed jumps to another time zone (sometimes GMT -5 for example).
I tried to sync it with GPS But then I get an hour difference.
Could it be related to daylight saving?

Well, it could, if a nearby country (Jordan?) keeps a different time, and the nav system sometimes thinks its there. I believe Jordan does not use daylight saving.

But GMT -5 is a real puzzler

sorry for the late answer. thank you for your answer.
As I mentioned, even when I uncheck the "sync with GPS" and set it manually, randomly it "drifts", meaning sometimes it shows one hour forward, two hours forward etc.
