General Ticking noise

Hoping someone can help me out before calling a mechanic.

2013 Fiat 500, 42k on the clock. Gearbox rebuild and clutch replacement Jan ‘23.

Ticking noise coming from under the bonnet when started, goes away once the car has been driven, worse when it’s cold.

Has anyone had experience with this before?

Sounds exactly like my old 1998 1242cc, when I ran it on 20/50 weight oil.

As the cylinder head gasket leaked at the front of the engine, and I couldn't be ar5ed replacing it.

Or the cambelt tensioner, it used to whistle like a supercharger, so I oiled that too. (until I got around to replacing both the cambelt/Tensioner head gasket) when the Tensioner started to squeal all the time and had too much play

Made it a bit tappety, . Sounds like your cylinder head needs a shim.

But it could be any cause, like general wear of most revolving items?

No sound when I tried..
But as you only filmed 1 area..

Try spraying Wd40 On that belt (that goes around the Alternator)
Do it with a Cold engine.. OFF

If it's quieter.. You will know

Ticking sounds normal the sort of scraping noise though?
