I was looking to get a laptop cable to run Multiecuscan and came across this

Why so cheap. I was expecting to pay 30 quid for the likes of this

Hi,
all part of the MES "learning curve.."

you're comparing "apples to oranges" there..,
the VAG com is a simple lead that will talk to the engine ECU, (reliably)

the ELM in the 2nd ad is a better quality lead = that also comes with the 3 x coloured "adaptor" leads to talk to / interrogate the Airbag, PAS, and ABS ECU's

I have found my £5 delivered KKL / VAG com lead works o.k. ( reliably), whereas I can 't get past a "high latency" issue with ANY of the ELM interfaces I've tried..,

BEWARE though .. study the set-up list on MES to see what lead combo you need for a specific vehicle,

I can talk 100% to my panda KKL , and 0% to my Idea ELM, :bang:
