Looking good David, how long till you have it running? Must be nice having the workshop space for doing conversions and mods to your motors. Suppose if ah cleaned the garage out I would have some space too lol

As always with projects what seems like a simple idea is turning into the usual nightmare. I suppose a car that is older than most of the members on here with the wrong engine and a completely different induction system is bound to bite back at some time.
I only have the use of this shed till tomorrow morning, its a working workshop that has been closed for the holidays, its back to the small shed tonight, whatever happens to the car.

Always liked the Manta back in the day. There was a chap who had a light silver B-reg 2.8 Capri and another near by who had a gunmetal grey Manta Coupe GTE ie the hatchback, not the saloon - was torn between which I thought was nicer, though in all honesty I was probably partial to Vauxhall a bit at the time as I preferred the shape of the mk2 Astra GTE and the later mk3 Cav GSi :laugh:

Nope thats a brake pipe you can see.
Update:-
It starts and it runs and water circulates and doesn't come out.
Bought new speakers, getting new amp tomorrow with new cables too.
Also picking up some LED sidelight bulbs tomorrow.
Ordered more bits from Rally Design.

It will sound good, 2 Alpine V-Power amps, another set of Infinity speakers and a whole bundle of expensive cables, all for the princely sum of SFA.
Bought some new RCA leads too.
