s-cargo ?

I thought that was someting to eat.....mind you, according to Nige, I am just a northern mupper...so, erm

Mupper

F****** northern Monkey! Are you coming south way for the Auto Italia fest at Stanford Hall? If so, we need to meet up for a scrap, or at least a beer or burger! Since I walked all the way around Stoneliegh trying to find you only to find out you were there the previous day..bleedin Southern **** or what!

Cheers geezer

Nige
P.S. I have just spent the evening with a guy who was heavily invovled in the design of the Jag XJS and XJ12C. Known this geezer for a few years but never knew his exact background. Fascinating if you are thinking about an XJS and want to know the design history and foibles.

sweet talker

O.K. Nige, you sweet talked me into it, due to old age etc, please refresh my memory as to dates and how to get there...must admit that even though you are a southern jesse, you directions for stonleigh were ace.......
by the way, have they replaced the big fiat advert near brum with one of david beckham? saw a pic in the paper that looked like it was in the same place?

jags

Couldnt log on here before, so spent some time browing auto trader looking at jage, god some nice ones out there, I know its nosey, but..........what sort of price range are you looking at, spent most of my time looking those between £6000 and £1000

Jag Prices

I am looking between 4 and 8k, but may have the oppertunity (Still yet to get to it) of the XJR at around £5k although its not for sale officially and especially at that price, its sort of a favour!

Figaros

I personally love the Figaro, even though it was the start of the cynical 'retro' styling fad (if you design a 'retro' car, it's easy to make it look out-of-date quickly, so people in theory will buy a new car quicker).

Figaros were made in small numbers, and there aren't many over here. The interior is particularly interesting: it has a real 50's feel to it. They have a huge cult following, and Frank Skinner owns one.

As far as I know, they were only made in grey.

To me, it has a very pure design, there's nothing on it that looks out of place.

go figaro

If you look closely you can see the similarities in design. Has anyone had the nerve to enlarge any of the pictures?

I cant believe the price thats going for!!
