Technical Thermostat issue?

I have a fiat panda 1.2 60hp 2008. When driving I need to drive an hour for it to get to the correct engine temperature can this be a thermostat issue?

Very commonly reported here.

Just change the thermostat (a cheap part and a simple job) and all will be well again.

Until it's fixed, you will likely be wasting 20% of the fuel you put in your tank.

Check the bottom portion of the top top hose

Is should stay cold for a couple of minutes

If it gets warn you need a new thermostat

With the blowers on 1 or 2 and the heaters on hot the car should heat up within three miles of driving

With the blower on full and the heater on hot the car will struggle get up to temperature especially
in winter

In dutch temperatures at the moment: YES absolutely!
Make sure you have enough jubilee clips handy. Original ones are (in my opinion) not reusable.
