Should I buy a performance panel filter? Tbf theres a service coming in 1400 miles anyway so I will get a perfomance gain for my 38 quid just cos it will be clean. Could get an HKS induction kit but its 200 quid and needs new filter sponges every 3k or every 2 months as its known..
 
What size is the engine? I personally wouldnt put an induction kit on a car below 1.8 any more. Especially without a remap to grasp back a bit of torque. I believe you can get a GSR for the Suzuki.

you personally dont know what you are talking about. Why say you wouldnt put induction on an engine of less than 1.8? Does a decent induction kit lose torque? No. With a well designed kit do you see gains of torque and horsepower? Yes.

With a small engine your gains will be smaller, and also if it has a well designed airbox as standard (with a CTR for example the airbox is very nearly as good as it can ever get) but it's up to the buyer to decide whether the gains are worth the cash or not.

Last I heard from Oldschool on the GSRs they were a work in progress however he does highly rate the standard induction on the swift as standard tho so was thinking of just getting a replacement (freer flowing) element as its due a service anyway. Not sure if its worth the effort. :confused:
