A friend of mine froze his contract for X amount of months. I think it was Tmobile. Call them and have a chat... They'll probably have something in place for these kinda situations. Its not uncommon for people's finances to go tits up and have to cut back on things.
When wiring in a headunit, should I solder the plug to the wires, or is crimping enough?

Not sure about the memory card (on the left hand edge?) but it looks like the Nokias we have at work - lock it by pressing star key (*) and enter (big one) ...or other way round

Easier to shut it in a large novel than pay a vet to put it to sleep. At least that way you can laminate it and give it to someone for Christmas as a bookmark.
