F*ck you over for anything illegal on your car. IE front tints, decat, non declared mods, anything unsafe, car too loud. List is endless.

Although I don't think that they can pull you over, just do you if they've got a cencus thing set-up with the police.

I could be wrong though.

What would be the point in them driving around if they couldnt pull you over?

They can pull you over and will go over your car with a fine toothed comb. Numberplate misspacing, illegal HID's, dodgy tints etc.
 
They team up with police as the police have the authority to give chase if you drive off. Obviously they don't :D..... But before you think about doing a runner they will take all your details from your reg plate and put it onto the ANPR database so next time you pass a ANPR Equiped Police vehicle they'll pull you over ;).

maybe its changed but was nothing in highway code saying you have to stop for them last time i looked. only time Ive seen them stopping is when with the police
