Is it possible to convert a wiper arm designed for aero blades to one that you can fit standard blades to?

Is there some sort of conversion clip available? If not I'll look to source some alternative wiper arms

Its the way it attachs to the arm that matters
Most still use the Hook, which means aero wipers with a hook will work the same as the non aero versions :)

Aero wipers is just a style of wiper really vs a big framey style

Dare I put my mrs on my car insurance? Will cost 10 quid over 12 months....she's said she doesn't want to be, well her words were " I can't think of anything very worse than driving your car have you met you?" And I know what she means murder would happen if she dinged it but could be handy if she needs a bigger car than her DS3 or her car goes in the garage and she needs to get to work.

As opposed to the timeless classic that is a fiat signum or is it a vauxhall c(r)oma?

Tbf she managed to put dents in the old car without ever driving it so if anything not much would change...

Typical women, know how to keep a clean and tidy house but their cars are biohazard zones :bang:.

She has a 64 plate DS3..it's done 1200miles from new..all of which were along the bottom of a canal as far as I can make out. That and she does scratch cards in the car..short of eating pasty's that is the one thing that makes me twitch..well that and when she gets out and drags her studded belt down the door frame..or opens the door into a post...

Think you've reminded me why she's not on..

Anyone got any tips for driving in the Czech Republic??

Already read the RAC page, just wondering if anyone's got any experience.

I have driven on the continent before in a Fiesta, this time I'm in a wee little Skoda Citigo

I'd have thought the actual driving ability and technique should be little different to any other country's that drive on the same side of the road. Only thing it might be worth doing is brushing up on road signage etc.

Let somebody cross in front of me today whilst I was sat in nose to tail traffic.
I couldn't help noticing the guy grabbed the underside of the top of the wheel with his left hand, palm facing up. His left hand then had to pull down to the left to turn the wheel.

Where do people learn this stuff? It's not like any driving instructor will teach that method!

if you have itchy hand you can use the stitching on inside of leather wheel to scratch it

It is acceptable to wait a week for a windscreen chip repair or is it likely to spread in that time?

Temperature changes is unlikely to do anything to it this time a year, so I'd rule that out - however a bump in the road could still do damage, so I'd get it fixed asap :)
Or at least cover it with one of those fancy stickers, to stop dirt getting in ;)
