The quick question thread

Ive painted a fair few in my time. Its Okay but powder coating is the better option.

Halfords paint is fairly decent tbh though. Thats the only thing I buy from there haha

I'm currently looking into Powder Coating. Found it for £35 a wheel.

Paint or powder coat when refurbing alloys?

Be careful if you're powdercoating forged wheels; plenty of people with MX5s (but not all AFAIK) have had their standard forged Enkei wheels crack.

any pressure in coolant resivour, when my hg went the resivour had enough pressure to force the contents out. open with care it will be hot

Dunno, the video is 2-3 years old, and I've just found it again. Never did find out if its normal, but its a Rover 25 with K series engine, turned out head had a crack in it, radweld was used, and then turned the oil to jelly :p

Know the cars dead now but my car does similar, but only on short trips, the hot gas condensing on the inside of a cold exhaust so you end up with water dripping out the tail pipe until the pipes heated from end to end. It's alot more noticable on cars where the tail pipe is straight out the back.

How do you tell the age of a rabbit? Cos we were told he was 3...but if you compare photos from the day we got him (wooden floor) to now (carpet) I think he looks like a juvenile when we got him.
