The quick question thread

Why do people attempting to sell cars that are only special by virtue of having survived longer than their contemporaries as having coach work? Perhaps this is why they lasted longer than all the other ones which had a monocoque construction made of biscuit tin quality steel...

Perhaps if I keep the swift long enough it'll be coach built too..

anyone know what size and more importantly thread the brake unions our fiats use?

i have loads, but i am using brake pipe for a solid fixed air line in my garage (as i keep cutting through the flexi pipe trailing across the floor). i need to know so i can find a regulator that has the same thread.

makes sense to use loads of what i have rather than buy new stuff...

Edit:
also through playing around with some spent 600g co2 welding cylinders that the unions i have loads of.. fit the tops of them..

its only for air brushing, and to make my waste oil burner heater run. im in the process of making a silent compressor out of a really large fridge type compressor to run them both on.

sadly finding any pneumatic parts suppliers around derby is not easy!

try a HYDRAULIC parts supplier, i go visit this place http://www.ekmpowershop24.com/ekmps/shops/hosequip/index.asp they have all sorts of odds and sods laying around and can normally find me some thing to join up any thing.

When a car is SORN'd how do you get it to an MOT tester without insurance.

You insure it and drive it there. Admiral are being knobs, you can't tax a car (which removes it from SORN) without insurance.

Ask to speak to a manager and tell them to get their facts right. Or use another insurance co who are a bit more professional.

My insurer, Admiral, won't insure a car that's is currently SORN'd.
I can't remove the SORN and tax the vehicle because the car has no MOT.
I can't get it to an MOT station without insurance... :bang:

change insurer they have got it backwards

where has all the lottery money gone from last night? it was a 4x rollover, nobody won it so how come wednesdays jackpot is only £2,200,000

to camelots back pocket! :)

Euro millions does the same
Some where in the T+C of the game after so many role overs its resets

Euromillions has hit the max a few times, never won and then suddenly reset back to like 12million vs the 167 of whatever it is

:yeahthat: Both my cars are currently SORN, but both are also insured so I can just MOT and tax them when I'm ready.
